Get involved and fundraise for York RI

Who we are

York RI is a cornerstone of community sports and activity in York, with deep ties to grassroots clubs, elite competition, and the historic railways. Our two multi sport venues at Queen Street and New Lane cater for all manner of indoor and outdoor sports, from badminton, squash, table tennis and martial arts, to netball, football, rugby and more.

The mission

With the support of Network Rail, we have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to buy our well loved venue at Queen Street. This is a place that has served the local community, grassroots sports clubs, elite competitions and more, for nearly 100 years. With your help, we can secure its future and look forward to supporting the next generation.

What you could do

We welcome everyone wanting to get involved in raising the funds to buy our Queen Street site.

 Some ideas...

Challenges - a sponsored walk or run, a bungee jump, cycling challenge, inter-sport challenge or tournament.

Run an event - a bake sale or coffee morning, a music night or bingo evening.

Outside the box - craft sales, a donation box at your work, break a world record...get creative.
